Ability to produce required information

The main function of an information system is to produce the required information. An organisation can have the latest, fastest and most expensive equipment but it is virtually useless unless the users can use it effectively and produce the information that is needed by the organisation.

When designing a network, consideration must be given to the training of users and the ease with which the users can do their jobs. If for any reason, difficulties arise, they must be addressed.
