Physical security

One simple way to prevent access to important data is to prevent any physical access. This can be as simple as locking doors and windows, using security cameras and guards and other locking devices. Common locking methods involve magnetic swipe cards, personal identification numbers (PINs) and of course, keys. In this age of remote access, physical security is not sufficient by itself but should never be overlooked.
